WRC Proposal Submission Cycle 2018/19
WRC Proposal Submission Cycle 2018/19
Proposers, who are registered on the WRC Proposal Submission (FMS) System, must use the same User-ID and Password that they have used in the past. First-time users will have to register as new users on FMS system. Please do not confuse the WRC Community membership login with the proposal submission FMS login, as they link to totally different systems. We also recommend that first-time users attend a WRC 101 workshop to familiarise themselves with the FMS as well as the proposal and contract management requirements.
For further details on the WRC 101 courses (to be around the Republic of South Africa) please consult the WRC website: www.wrc.org.za or contact Mr Vhafunani Tshishonga [firstname.lastname@example.org].

All proposals, both Open and Directed, have to be submitted on-line via the FMS. The Guidelines for Proposal Preparation and Submission document can be downloaded from the WRC's website. This document contains valuable information that will assist in the preparation of proposals and also provides clear pointers regarding the submission process. Proposers are strongly advised to download a copy and familiarise themselves with the requirements for proposal preparation and submission (the FMS screens do not include the explanatory details contained in the Guidelines document).
Any concerns relating to the FMS can be logged on firstname.lastname@example.org
Proposers are strongly encouraged to complete their submissions as early as possible to avoid last minute bottlenecks and possible problems due to system overload.
Upon submission, each proposal should contain the following documents (failure to submit all documentation will result in automatic rejection during the pre-screening process:
1. Completed proposal submitted on FMS.
2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate at the time of proposal submission.
3. Confirmation of BEE status (where applicable).
4. Declaration of Interest for project leader/proposers.
